Margaret (Peggy or Peg too)….hey, you made me think of the old George Gershwin song, "I Got Plenty of Nuttin …. and nuttin's plenty for me".....yata yata yata. Have a good weekend. Hugs. Regina
Mike, I love this man's voice. Not always his music though. I kind of liked this one. Hootie & The Blowfish are touring so he's been on every damn TV show and I heard this a few times on TV lately. Guess he took time off from Country Music. Yah.
Oh - I also remember singing "I got Plenty o' Nothing" back in high school. On e concert or another our choir did a medley of Cole Porter tunes from Porgy & Bess. Guess you could add that to my list of alternative music too. At least I sang Bass. And we kicked some serious butt on Handel's "Hallelujah Chorus". Still remember most of the bass line for that one.

Sometimes that is a great feeling. I just take a deep breath and enjoy the quiet in my head.
Oops, Hootie didn't show up till after I posted. It was just a blank page. Listening now---cool song.
I don't think I've heard this song before. Good song.
Mike, off brand new album.
Great guitar riff throughout the song plus just good music.
Some days we just don't have much to say Peg. Most days I feel like that. See ya.

Looks like the internet is gonna prove me wrong. It Was G. Gershwin that wrote that. Thought for sure it was Cole Porter.
I sit here humbled.
Brian, so you can sing! and yes a new hootie album 😊
