Some Election Humor to alleviate some stress.
Okay this below isn't humor. This broke my heart when I saw it on a dear friends instagram feed. I can't say I understand 100% of what he goes through daily but just what I can grasp with my priviliage is difficult to swallow.
This one below sounds like it's from someone in 3rd grade but this brilliance can only be the donald. I saw this tweet and I laughed even though it's so sad. I mean if he was just the town idiot it's funny as hell. But the leader of the free world, now it's sad and pathetic. As a friend of mine in Europe said to me yesterday, I really overestimated the American People. Ah, it's how the world sees us now. Stupid and Ignorant like him.
I have one more meme that I am hoping I can post soon. Fingers crossed.

Years and years ago I was in an elementary school class that went to see the Statue of Liberty as our 8th grade end of year treat. Believe it or not (I can barely do so) I climbed all the way up to her crown (that was before they would not allow it). I still remember how I felt at that age thinking about my grandparents coming from Poland to the USA....the very long trip across the ocean - not knowing the language - so young and in love. I was always proud of my grandparents and loved being fortunate enough to be here. Your first offering of the poor Statue of Liberty really touched me. I'm hoping I can finally sleep throughout the night soon unafraid of the egotistical idiot living in the White House now. Thanks for that reminder of my trip to NYC. Hugs.
Regina, What a fabulous story! All the time I worked in Manhattan I never did get to Ellis Island. It's still a bucket list because I would love to see my grandparent's and parents' names on the roster.
Me and Lady Liberty are keeping a low profile till the final hurrah. Can't wait.

I saw Trump on TV when he was saying something similar to that tweet and I thought "how can the people who voted for him be so stupid?" He truly does think like a 3rd grader.
