My sister actually thought we needed to put 70 candles on my mom's birthday cake.
That made me giggle.
We didn't have a fire extinguisher was the only thought going around in my little head.
They put as many as possible on the cake and our mom sure did blow them out quickly!
I have no idea what my parents are laughing about here but they found it hysterical.
Yes it's blurry but I love this picture so I added it.

So I didn't get any video. I also didn't take a single photo. One of the girls in the photo above did all the photography. It was a busy day.....making sure the food was always full, the drinks flowing, mingle, mingle. You know all the stuff a misanthropic person just LOVES to do. :-)

In other news.....
Rick and my dog are still really suffering with allergies.
I am just waiting for my turn.
I am also a bit fearful of this weather.

Peg, why can't you just enjoy this positive 80 degree weather in March?
Well it's weird. We went from wearing a parka immediately to shorts and t-shirts.
I missed jeans and sweatshirt weather.
I fear July and August.
July will be in the 100's and in August I fear we'll just all blow up.
Just sayin'.....

Combustion! That is all I can imagine for August. Seriously. I love, adore, cannot wait for the summer. Every year. I never complain on the 100 degree days (even as we don't have central air at home). But. This is scaring me. I am literally petrified that we're going to get so hot we'll spontaneously explode. That's gonna be a bitch of a stain to remove.

You live in the mid atlantic without air conditioning? Oh Arenebya I couldn't do it!! I'd live under a bridge with a portable air conditioner. I hate being hot!!

Our weather keeps bouncing back and forth. One day we are in shorts the next day all bundled up.

I know what you mean about the weather! I have spring break at the beginning of April and I've already made a mental list of all I want to get done during that week. Though I went online this morning to check out the extended forecast for that week. It's suppose to be cold again :o/
fun photos, peg. your mom and dad are so cute. as for the weather, california's is very all over the place too. we totally missed winter here. for most that's a good thing. for me, so sad. i love the rain.
