Part 1 - Question

Okay kids, let's play a game.

When you make an appointment to have your bathtub refinished the person who schedules the job goes over all the things you need to do prior to their arrival. She also goes over some things that they need to do within the 1st 24 hrs.
She has a checklist that she checks off for each call so nothing is missed. She could repeat it all in her sleep it is said so many times in one day.

An email is sent with a document confirming their appointment date/time, name of tech coming to their home etc.
The document outlines everything they have been told but in deep detail called, What to Do Prior to Our Arrival.

They are asked to read this and if they have any questions or concerns to call the office. All of this information was already discussed over the phone but it is sent as well. Some call just to say they read it, Some call with questions and some say, well this is what you told me is there something else I should know? No, just sent because some don't listen when told on the phone and some don't listen and need to hear it twice. Of course, that is not said to the person on the phone.

The technician has them come into the room when the job is completed to approve the job. They then sign that this was approved and done to their satisfaction. Then the tech goes over all the things the scheduler did, the rubber glove on the faucet and shower head can be removed at 24 hrs and not before and the reason why. The overflow plate can be put back on at 24 hrs and the reason why it isn't put back on. Tech shows them how to screw it on if they appear to be clueless.  The technician leaves a care and maintenance form after going over it with them with instructions as well as care for the life of the tub.

The care and maintenance sheet says, Do not put the overflow plate on until at least 24 hrs so it does not cut into the wet coating. Do not remove the rubber gloves on the faucet and shower head until the minimum of 24 hrs to avoid any water leaking. It also states that you can use this bathtub or shower in 24 hours at the very top.

My Questions to you - Now would you think they need to be told to take off the gloves before bathing or to put the overflow plate on before bathing at the 24 hr mark?
