Smart Beagle

When we got our little fur ball at 4 months old we were told from the breeder that she was only a 9.5 out of 10 in intelligence. But one look at that little face and I just didn't care.
Now there have been times where I am thankful that is all she is because I fear if she was a 10 or had thumbs we'd have no damn control.

So when I saw this beagle I cracked up.  I loved watching that thought process here.
I guess this is a 10 and thankfully I don't have one! I thought my countertops were safe. Apparently with this beagle, nowhere is safe!

No thank you! It's hard enough keeping kids out of things without having to worry about a smart dog!

I saw that on Facebook isn't it crazy? Super smart!

I looked at that video and immediately started trying to figure out how to thwart the dog. Rubber feet on the chairs? Bungee cords around the chairs....

okay then flask you hate beagles. I don't like the fact that they are such barkers/vocal dogs. But I only save those feelings of ick towards small yappy dogs whose owners dress them and cats. I feel very strongly about cats!

I like my mellow, sweet non vocal dog.

the thing about beagles is not that they bark. it's that they will look you right in the eye and destroy your refund check while shitting in your coffee.

because they are smart enough to know which envelope is your refund check and they want you to KNOW they're still mad over that time you wouldn't let them eat all the bacon.

rules? you dare to have rules? do you not know i am BEAGLE?

only a beagle will take the trouble to figure out how to shit four and a half feet up your dining room wall ten minutes before your mother in law arrives for dinner.

that cute beagle is a genius!! I thought only my non-well-behaved cat wandered across the counters. Didn't think dogs did this type of thing. Feeling much better now about the pitiful pet training that is occurring at my place.
