The headlines are yelling, "Drink it Now, Soon a Wine Shortage Globally."
The headlines are saying, "The Red Sox won the world series"
Those 2 sentences make me very ill, tremendously sad and ready to throw myself into oncoming traffic.
I can't think of 2 worse things right now.
Oh sure, having one's health and having shelter but c'mon my life is wine (whine)
(AND I HATE THE RED SOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
I have to go to bed now and pull the covers up over my head.

It's a sad day in Mudville. The mighty Casey wasn't up but Carpenter struck out.
We are surrounded by wineries I think we'll be ok :)
i am almost sorry.
at least when the yankees finish the legal wrangling so they don't have to pay a-rod they'll be able to buy all the world serieses they want, just like the old days.
but how about those cubs, eh?
Mike - :-)
Julie - they say you won't be.
flask - you mean how the red sox copied the evil empires model and they now pay a luxury tax? I think A-rod did himself in and won't be back. But who knows. The cubs are pitiful.
Sorry.
i don't actually care about the cubs.
i live in the red sox nation.
SWEEEEET CAROLIIIIINE bum bum bummmmmmm.
i was just being polite referencing the cubs.
flask you weren't being polite.
that's okay you're happy now you only have another 20 to catch up right?
Guess it's good that I don't like wine!
if you understood the red sox, you would know that once in our lifetimes is good enough.
two is just gravy.
there is no need to catch up to and imitate what we despise.
so.
how 'bout those cubbies?
You don't despise, you can't. You copied the model. That isn't despising now c'mon. You can be a hater but just have the facts. Now will they at least shave? They look ridiculous.
Cora, Yes it is good for you bad for me.
i think you are confusing red sox fans with red sox management/marketing/corporation.
"we" didn't grow beards, hire players, or copy anything.
"we" just love our red sox.
i don't hire ballplayers, design uniforms, or have anything at all to do with how anything is conducted.
i simply love my red sox. i loved them in 1975, and i loved them in 1986.
and bill buckner, yeah.
love him too.
i heard he tried to kill himself. yeah. he stepped in front of a bus but it rolled between his legs.
you sort of have to be a red sox fan to understand what it is to love the red sox.
cubs fans, they get it. and one day they'll get lucky, i hope.
