Still not feeling great but I will soon I am sure.
In the mean time this is what I have been doing.
Saturday Rick and I planted some flowers on our patio.
The Petunia's
Geraniums and Portulaca's
Rick bought this one! They like shade so it's perfect for where it's at.
This has flowers like begonias and some more portulaca's but in front is some garlic and Izzy just can't stop smelling it. She has her nose in this box every chance she gets. She has never attempted to eat it but she sure is thrilled by the smell.
This below is Izzy being a bad defiant dog again. She was done walking and this is her way of telling me. She will just stop. Izzy is a diva and does not like hot weather. She prefers it cool. We had only walked a mile and she had enough. So she just stops. Cracks me up every time. She will just stare at me until I turn towards our home and then she will follow. I would love to know what the hell they are thinking.
That is all I've been up to besides work.
Here's hoping my next post is telling you I just won the Powerball.

I can relate to Izzy! I don't do hot and when I'm done, I'm done. (I just don't look as cute when I protest)
She's like, it's too hot mom!! I don't blame her ;)

I quit planting plants if the dogs can get to them. Mine love to eat them or pee on them. Now I have tomato plants among my rose bushes. Works out great because of all the bugs that come to visit my roses.
The dogs also never get tired of the walk, even if it's hot.
OK, first off, can I tell you how much I LOVE Izzy?!!! LOVE that she just says, "Enough," and won't move till you head home!! I want to be like Izzy!
Also, your container gardens are lovely. Mine are looking a little peaked, this dumb weather can't decide to be 40 degrees or 90. So it alternates! My plants are not pleased!

Anything/Joan - yes it would be good if we humans could be more like a dog and just stop and say - had enough, don't want this anymore. Save us a lot of heartache ya know? Plants looks good because I just planted them - talk to me in August. :-)

I for one, love the flowers! I think they look great. Maybe thats what I should do.. plant a garden.
Raquel - honestly Roc getting in the dirt and planting is Zen like for me. And having drinks out there makes it oh so pretty. :-)
I hope you're back to 100% soon. Sometimes something like gardening or just being outside can be so very therapeudic. Your flowers are gorgeous (so is Izzy, of course)!

i just got my snow tires taken off.
and saturday i blasted through two foot snowdrifts.
and i got home and there was all this green stuff. is that grass?
next week i'm going to PEI.
