I was going through photos and saw these and don't think I put them up after our trip to California in January.
This is Rick and his sisters at the Santa Monica Pier.
I'd go for a dose of that weather right now. Although our winter has been incredibly mild and I should not complain!
His sister Cheri on the left and Erin on the right. He is the big brother.
This one below is funny to me. He was just standing there and it looked to me like he was posing for photos. It made me laugh. I do not know what the hell he was looking at but he's laughing at something. I asked if he remembered, that made him laugh as well.
On the topic of my post a couple of days ago - neither of these beautiful women look as old as The Golden Girls. Yet they are far older. See what I mean?
So maybe it was the way they dressed them along with Helmet Hair and matronly clothes to look old.
All that matters is his sisters are all alive and thriving!
They neither feel old or look it and that is half the battle.
Rick on the other hand.....

Nice pics, Peggy. Looks so warm and sunny... and NOT "golden". I do think what we wear, including hairstyles, makes a difference.
Rick looks proud of his two sisters and they of their big brother. Wonder how much grief he gave their boyfriends when the girls started dating? That is what a big brother is for.
Patti since he just met them 3 yrs ago he didn't get to give them any grief. Rick was adopted and he found his father and that side of the family 3 yrs ago. He is a big protector....ask my nieces. He tells them what he thinks of the boys they date. It's cute. They call him Uncle Ricky and would call just to chat and ask him questions about boys. The one who just turn 27 is getting married and Uncle Ricky is walking her down the aisle. When she asked him he cried. That big bear of a man sobbed like a little girl. It was beautiful. :-) I think the bigger they are the softer they are ya know?
