Found a new diet.

I found a new diet.
Have your fridge break down.
Walking to the garage to the little fridge out there to get things means moving my fat ass.
Our garage is not attached to our house you see.

Rick wanted a piece of cheesecake while watching a movie.
(yep I made a cheesecake)
He asked if I wanted a piece.
I knew why he was asking me if I wanted one.
He did not wish to walk out to the garage to go get a piece, he wanted me to fetch him the cake and bring it inside.
I said, no I do not want a piece, Rick.
Hey, I was snug as a bug in my blanket on the sofa watching a good show and I didn't want to go out there any more than he did. I was being a lard ass just like he was.
A few minutes go by. He doesn't move.
Can't want it that badly then I think to myself.
The movie is over and off to bed we go.
I say as we're getting into bed. Thought you wanted cheesecake.
He replies, "I'm too damn lazy to go outside to get it so I guess I don't want it that badly. If you were a good wife you'd have gotten it for me"
He laughs.

Yep if I was a good wife I would have.
Sorry, you have a very bad wife who was being as lazy as you.
I'll fetch tomorrow.

That's a good diet. At least you have another refrigerator, most people don't.

I try not to have my favorite comfort foods in the house. If I want them bad enough I have to drive to get them or I'll order them in a restaurant to get my fix.

Jean, if I lived alone and when I did live alone, that is exactly what I would do. However, this big hairy man who lives in my house sure likes to eat. :-)

I went to the store the other day and realized more than half of the stuff I bought was comfort food. It was a good shopping trip.

Hahaha. We do become complacent when we are snug and cozy but it is true, if we wanted it bad enough we'd have gone to get it.
