I'm in heaven

 OMG!!

I found this on Prime!

Now before Rhoda & Mary there was Ann.

I was 10yrs old when this started and 15 when it was over. Her life was what I
wanted. Living in NYC, having this fabulous wardrobe, boyfriend and life. Her father was a bit like mine in the sense that he didn't think a nice young woman should live on her own especially in NYC.

Of course, then there was Mary, I was older now and boy this was my dream, a career, friends, great wardrobe and great apartment.  As I have always said, I so wanted to be Mary but I realize I am Rhoda. 😉 I just can't rock a head scarf like her.

I have to go watch a couple of episodes, have a another cup of coffee and just enjoy the innocence of life.  (just the opposite of today)
Sometimes I just need to run away mentally.

Have a great holiday weekend !!

I remember That Girl ~ was a huge fan back in the day! Unrealistic, but fun. Based on your other posts, I think we may have watched many of the same shows, but of course we did!! There were only 3 or 4 stations then. :-D

OMG, I'd forgotten about That Girl! I think I remember watching reruns with my mom sometimes. I had a That Girl coloring book!

Well Abby I did not have the coloring book. But I sure tried to do my hair like her which is hideous😊

I believe wholeheartedly in escapism.

That Girl was definitely one of my favorite shows. Good, clean television. I loved her voice. It's always nice to be reminded of some of the TV shows of my younger years. I don't really feel much older in my head or my heart, but my body is always sending a different message. Watching shows like this do help me forget about the body aches and pains and sends me back. Thanks for the memories. Ranee (MN)

I loved that show too. I wanted to be her when I grew up. You can still recognize her voice when she does an occasional commercial.
