Perfection Weather

June 3 and 4th 2019 were both PERFECT weather days.
Perfection!  Please note.
If I could have June 3rd & 4th 2019 here in the mid-Atlantic all June and July I would be the happiest gal on earth.
Cool mornings and evenings with warm sunny days with blue skies and a few fluffy clouds. Sounds just perfect right? Ah, and it was.

I love the 70's. I love low humidity.
Low and humidity are not two words put together around these parts.
You have humidity, high humidity, hazy, hot and humid and oh my God it's 100% humidity and yet it is not even going to rain!!

I know it will not last and we'll be really hot again with high humidity.
But it was fun even if the cold spell was only for 2 days.
I want to live where all of May, June and July is like June 3rd and then you can be miserable hot in August.
Aah, a girl can dream.

Am I the only one who isn't buying that creepy Jeopardy James story about why he wagered so low?  Yea, I smell a rat.

Being a professional gambler he may have bet on himself to lose. Or bet against. Who knows. The first day I said to Rick he was smarmy. That word made Rick laugh at me. But I felt it fit him.

His low bidding was so off his M.O. on how he bid everything for the past month or so. That something really smells fishy to me. I am thrilled he is gone because I do watch the show. I found him creepy on the first show right down to his smile that seemed forced and odd at best. Maybe it was as simple as he was just tired of the gig.
He made almost 2.5 so he'll get at least 1.5 after taxes. Not a bad month or two at work.

Am I the only one who thinks something is off?

I saw this photo on my phone that I wanted to share from a bit ago.
When we saw that Izzy wouldn't go out to the patio I put an old rug down for her.
I didn't even unfurl it all the way, I couldn't actually, no room.
That made her happy and she went out there immediately to lay and nap with one of her bears who's eyeballs she surgically removed.
Quirky ole girl.

The painful cortisone shot I received in my Achilles has been a godsend.
I am no longer in horrific pain. Now I need to wait for approval for an MRI.
I still have some pain but I can live with this. This isn't close to what it was before the shot when the pain was off the charts for 24/7.
Thank goodness.

I'm off to go work at my awesome job she says with total disgust. Now that is a constant pain no cortisone shot can help me with. I did win the mega millions on Friday. I had the mega ball, I think that pays me a whopping $2.00. I was shooting for the $444 million so I could tell all the mean people on the phone to shove it up there you know where.  Do you know how good that would feel? I'd sure like to find out.

And lastly being hated as a country is not fun. I can't believe this orange douche has done this to us. The protests in London were phenomenal. I loved the fat orange baby trump balloon. Then the moron said he never saw any of it. Yes, and even though on tape you never said Meghan was nasty. Just because you are stupid doesn't mean we are.
But I loved that unlike Obama he was not invited to spend the night for 2 nites. I wouldn't want him on my sheets either. Ick.

What a newsy post! Weather sure does make a difference in our moods, doesn't it.

When I saw James lose on Jeopardy my first thought was he bet so low because he was hoping to lose because he was tired of the pressure. He's vain enough not to want knowinglg give the wrong answer.

Izzy found a way to enjoy the deck. I wonder if the wood is hot on her feet? Wouldn't think it would be any hotter than the sidewalks that she's used to walking on.

Jean, it does get hotter but not any hotter as you said than the pavement. Hopefully once back to normal out there she will resume her way of life. You know, the diva life that I wish I had. :-)

I saw this morning someone popped his blimp lmao. I don't think I've ever seen another country hate on our president like this one.

Julie, I hope to God we never do. What could be worse than a man who thinks he should be dictator?

Thanks for the updates! Nice to know your cortisone shot is doing its work. I don't watch Jeopardy and only knew of the guy from the occasional news story, but your suspicions have me curious.

Envious of your weather! You're getting what we should have. Instead we have rain & temps in the 60's. Nice for April, not May & June. Send some nice stuff up here, wouldja?

It was in the 60's and 70's last week. Today? 92 with high humidity. I started sweating just by going outside.

I agree with you Peg. There is something sneaky about the whole thing but thank God he's gone. I hate the game myself but others leave the game. I'm just happy that the man who controls the game is a Canadian like me. LOL See ya my friend.

I'm glad to hear someone else was turned off by James'
smile. It reeked of phony to me. I think he just got tired and wanted out so he could enjoy some of his winnings. They do many shows in one day which is a grind when you are the one showing up each day.
I thought the daily rains were bad but the searing, humid heat is worse. Thank goodness for climate controlled homes.

Patti, I concur! I could not live without A/C. Glad to know you thought his smile was creepy.

Margaret (Peggy or Peg too)...so good to hear you are feeling better. Unrelenting pain is so awful. Weather here in southernwestern Maine is going to be hot & humid this weekend after all sorts of strange weather ups and downs. Add the black fly season plus mosquitos & the joy is taken out of gardening. I loved the hilarious orange baby balloon but better yet the smaller one of him seated on his gold toilet "throne." Cannot believe I've spent over two years now being driven crazy by his antics & those of his compadres in Washington. Hugs.

Regina, ooh the mosquitos and black flies do make all things outside miserable! Mosquitos are drawn to me for some reason. Rick says if he sits next to me he won't get bitten. Sadly true. I get them all.
We are all weary of that damn orange fool!
Have a great day.
